Already in 1822, René Bolloré founded the company Odet Cascadec Bolloré (OCB) , Odet being a river in Brittany and Cascadec the name of a paper mill on that same river. Bolloré - as the conglomerate is called nowadays, is active in many fields, but enjoys its excellent reputation mainly because of the OCB cigarette paper which enjoys worldwide popularity.
