The cover of this scale is made of biodegradable materials. Meaning: The look is not just a design gag, it is actually straw fibre, more precisely wheat straw fibre. The handy size of only 7 x 10cm makes the scale extremely easy to transport and therefore always available without any problems. The lid can also be used as a weighing tray. An additional 100g weight is required for calibration.
