As we sell items that contain batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are obliged under the Battery Act to draw your attention to the following:

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, the seller is obliged to inform you of the following:
You are legally obliged to return used batteries as the end user. You can return batteries free of charge after use to the seller or to the designated collection points (e.g. municipal collection centres or retailers). You can also return the batteries to the seller by post. In any case, the seller will reimburse you the postage for returning your used battery.
The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
- The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol means that the battery must not be disposed of with household waste.
- Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 per cent lead by mass
- Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 per cent cadmium by mass
- Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 per cent mercury by mass.
